West Tampa Elementary – Part of the PGI Family
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” -Winston Churchill
Five years ago, Ed Ellsasser participated in CEOs in Schools where local CEOs teams up with a school to share tips and knowledge while engaging with the kids. Ed was paired with West Tampa Elementary School and needless to say, WTE has become part of the PGI family. Each of our employees has given back in various ways to this great school, its students, and its teachers. This year was no different, we sponsored a field trip for each class! These kids did not have to worry about funding or logistics, they just got to be kids and have fun! For many of the kids, it was their first field trip ever.
Kindergarten went to Glazier Children’s Museum and Shelby Luke chaperoned this one.
1st Grade participated in a Lego STEM program called Bricks 4 Kids.
2nd Grade went to the Humane Society.
3rd Grade went to MOSI. Alexander Jenks, Taylor Amato, and Rebecca Abraham attended.
4th Grade went to the Tampa Historic Center.
5th Grade is going to JA Biz Town later in April. Brett Scafidi, Kevin Guida, and Ed Ellsasser will attend.

We are honored and proud to support WTE. We would like to share these sweet thank you (and Happy Birthday) letters from the 3rd and 4th graders:
