HIRING: Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager

JOB OPPORTUNITY

PrimeGroup Insurance is looking for an assistant account manager to help with marketing new accounts as well as servicing existing clients. To be successful in this position you should be organized, detail oriented and able to multitask in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude. Teamwork and time management skills are essential to provide excellent service to our clients.

PGI is a technology-driven organization so proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint experience is a plus. We do not require previous insurance experience and will provide all necessary industry training. We are looking for a motivated long-term employee as we are growing rapidly and have plenty of opportunities for advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED; college degree (preferred).
  • Customer service experience.
  • PC skills with Word, Excel
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Hours 8:00 AM – 5 PM as the minimum requirement, willing to work extra hours when needed.
  • Marketing new and renewal business.
  • Gathering information from the client to prepare coverage for new and renewal policies.
  • Preparing applications for clients to submit to insurance carriers.
  • Capacity to participate and adhere to supervisory/accountability expectations.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills that reflect an ability to present and receive feedback in a positive and effective way.
  • Willing to work honestly and diligently with all team members, supervisors, and producers.
  • Willingness and ability to hold yourself to the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Maintain a cordial & effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, & others.
  • Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverage, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
