In our journey to One Nationwide we invited our independent channel partners to join us in honoring agents who serve their communities, through the Community Service Award. This year we had one independent and one exclusive channel agent nomination per region, which led to a very difficult decision for the selection committee. The 2016 Corporate Community Service Award winner is Central Atlantic Agent J. Brandon Scearce from Virginia.
We wish to thank all of the regions for their community service award submissions. We are very proud to be associated with the many talented and dedicated Nationwide agents who give so much of their time and talents to the betterment of their communities.
Let’s take a look at our Corporate Community Service Award winner, Brandon Scearce. His community YMCA was nearly bankrupt and in disrepair, so he decided to get involved and make a difference. Brandon’s commitment to reviving the aging institution included volunteering his time, providing personal contributions, creating partnerships with local businesses, soliciting donations, leading a team of volunteers and much more. Brandon’s involvement inspired his community to act and together they are committed to restoring the structure, enhancing the interior and providing members with updated equipment.Brandon has been notified of his accomplishment.
The regional winners will also receive an email acknowledging their accomplishments as regional winners. We encourage you to reach out to your regional winner and congratulate them personally for their accomplishments.While there is only one recipient of the corporate award, each and every one of our award winners should be very proud of their accomplishments and contributions to their communities.
