Tampa, FL –The Ryan Nece Foundation has named Shelley Sharp as its Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Sharp is a former IBM executive where she had global marketing responsibility. She serves on the boards of Pepin Academies and LAMPLighters and has significant experience with public relations, social media, and fundraising for nonprofit organizations. Ms. Sharp plans to expand the foundation’s youth leadership development program and create new Power of Giving programs to increase the foundation’s community impact.

Allison Gorrell, who served as the foundation’s Executive Director, has been named the Chief Operating Officer and will continue to focus on programs and events.

Ed Ellsasser, President of PrimeGroup Insurance, will serve as the Board Chair for 2016. Marc Matthews, an attorney at the law firm of McIntyre Thanasides, will serve as Vice Chair. Dr. Nekeshia Hammond, with Hammond Psychology & Associates, P.A., will serve as Secretary. Rob Mainelli, Manager at Gregory, Sharer & Stuart, CPAs, will serve as Treasurer.
